KEEP THEM WARM PROJECT

Launched in 2020 in Kaduna State, the Keep Them Warm Project addresses the urgent need for clothing among vulnerable Almajiri children during the harmattan season. Many of these children, often orphans or from underprivileged backgrounds, faced life-threatening conditions.

Our initiative focuses on communities affected by conflict and orphanhood, providing essential items like tailored sweatshirts and festive clothing. We have received generous donations of clothing, shoes, and books, supporting our ongoing commitment to improve the lives of orphans.

Project Highlights:

- 2020: Responding to the tragic loss of children, we designed warm sweatshirts, distributing them to 71 vulnerable children in Angwan Makama. The distribution brought joy and hope, symbolizing security for these children.

- 2021: We identified additional orphans in Angwan Makama and Kurmin Gwari, supplementing our efforts by providing tailored clothing and distributing 62 kilograms of ready-made clothes, reaching a total of 200 orphans.

- 2022: In Gwagwada village, affected by insurgency, we distributed warm clothing to 80 orphaned children. The overwhelming need led us to pair items to ensure each child received clothing, reinforcing our mission to provide warmth and hope.
